Message from First Director

Dear Friends in Jesus Christ,

“For the mighty one has done great things for me and holy is his name” Luke 1:49

By the grace of God, I came to the UK on October 29, 2013. From then until today, God has allowed me to do my ministry at Our Lady and St George’s Church in Walthamstow.On the 5th of December 2018, the Head of the Syro-Malabar Church, Cardinal George Alencherryand the Bishop of the Syro-Malabar Diocese of Great Britain, Mar JosephSrampickal officially inaugurated St Marys and Blessed Kunjachan Mission.
This Mission was formed by combining, Enfield, Edmonton, Harlow and Walthamstow Mass centres. Now two years later, we have about 85 families in the mission.
I remember with gratitude the Bishop of Brentwood Alan Williams and Very Rev. Canon Niall Harrington, the parish priest of Our Lady and St George’s Church Walthamstow for their great support and care towards the Syro Malabar community.
I would like to thank and congratulate all the faithful of this mission for their dedicate service and cooperation for the growth of this mission.
I pray with gratitude that the Blessed Virgin Mary may continue to intercede for the growth of our mission.
I hope that this website that we have started, may help for the smooth running of all activities in the Mission.
